JENNIFER’S PROFILE
Jennifer Knight received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Chapman University.
She began her court affiliation as a probation officer in Phoenix. She has been a Victim Advocate in the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and then transitioned to investigate crimes against children at the Child Advocacy Center at Mary Bridge Hospital.
Jennifer has advocated for children for over twenty-five years. She specializes in children and teenagers, and also court ordered interventions.
Jennifer has interviewed over fifteen-hundred children in child abuse cases and has been a board member for the Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County. She is also a member of the AFCC (Association of Family and Conciliation Courts).
Jennifer Knight has provided training for the Pierce County Bar Association, Child Protective Services and the Puyallup Tribe. She has been qualified as an expert in King and Pierce County Superior court regarding how children disclose abuse.
Jennifer has worked in Pierce County for more than twenty years. She lives with her husband in Tacoma, Washington. She champions charities for children and animals.
